Mr. Michael

Michael Jaskelewicz, Director/Co-Owner

Michael began his dance training at age 12 at Kelly Richards School of Dance located in Warminster, PA.  While at KRSD, Michael served on the Competition Team competing in the Tri-State area. He has been teaching dance for the past 12 years. Michael is fully trained in Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Lyrical, Ballet, and Modern Dance. After, KRSD, Michael went on to graduate with his Bachelor's Degree from DeSales University . 

While at DeSales, he had the opportunity to choreograph numerous pieces that were showcased at various venues in the Lehigh Valley. Some shows that his choreography was featured at were Emerging Choreographers Concert, Informal Winter Dance Concert, DeSales University Dance Team, and an Independent Project which exclusively featured his choreography. In addition, he studied under Trinette Singleton, the former Ballet Mistress for the Joffrey Ballet. Michael has performed in pieces originally choreographed by Twyla Tharp, J.T. Jenkins, and the Philadelphia based dance company, Vada Dance Collective.  

After graduating, Michael continued his passion for dance by developing a dance class for current and former students at KRSD. In addition, he also began a fitness class that fused hip-hop and cardio that became very popular at Nex Level Fitness. Currently, Michael continues to study dance at classes in the Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley Areas and takes the initiative to build upon his extensive knowledge of dance.

Mr. Michael resides in Sellersville with his wife (Miss Susan), their two daughters Kendall & Elena along with their two dogs, Alcide & Flash!

Running this dance studio is a lifelong dream coming to life!

Miss Susan

Susan Jaskelewicz, Teacher/Co-Owner

Susan began her dance career at the age of eight and knew this would be something she would want to continue forever.  She trained at Center Stage Dance Academy in Hatboro, PA.  While at CSDA, she was a student teacher for 4 years and began teaching her own classes at age 17.  Continuing her passion throughout college, Susan graduated from DeSales University with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and a minor in Psychology.  While at DeSales, Susan performed in various student dance concerts and was cast in the re-staging of Bob Fosse's "Sing, Sing, Sing" and Alwin Nikolais' "Tensile Involvement".  Along with performing, she was the production manager for the Emerging Choreographers Concert in 2009. Susan attended American College Dance Fesitval and was an active member of the DeSales University Dance Team.

During and mostly after college, Susan performed for two Philadelphia-based modern dance companies: Vada Dance Collective & coEXISTdance.  She was also a member of the original Philadelphia Fight Vixens Dance Team for their 2009 debut season.  Also after college, Susan worked for the Pennsylvania Ballet in their internship program to discover the inner-working of how the ballet company is run.  Susan was a Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleader for the 2012-2013 season.

Susan currently works full-time at REACH Cyber Charter School as a High School Counselor.

Miss Susan is EXTREMELY excited for the upcoming season and is excited to bring her past experiences to dances so they can experience the same love of dance that she has!

Elizabeth Wagner - Teacher & Assistant director

Miss Liz began dancing at the age of 5 in North Wales, PA. She recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Dance from DeSales University with a focus in ballet and modern. Elizabeth was able to perform at the Triskelion Arts in New York City and was able to train at the Trinity Laban Institute in London, England.

While at DeSales she was also chosen to be the student manager and choreograph for the Informal Dance Concert. Elizabeth participated in the American College Dance Festival, taught for the Conservatory of Dance at DeSales and was part of the DeSales Touring Company her senior year.

Miss Katie

Katie Baldwin - Teacher

Class: Irish Dance, Beginner Ballet/Tap, Beginner Jazz/Tap

Miss Katie is a graduate of Lansdale Catholic High School. She began her Irish Dance career at the age of 8 at the Fitzpatrick School of Irish Dance in Bucks County, where she continued for another 12 years. While a student at Fitzpatrick, Katie was also a company member and assistant teacher for a number of those years. With the Fitzpatrick School, Katie had the opportunity to travel and perform at Disneyland & Universal Studios in California, Myrtle Beach, SC, Wildwood NJ Irish Festival, Valley Forge Winter Celtic Festival, Philadelphia and Bucks County St. Patrick's Day Parades, and many more. Additionally, Katie performed in the movie, "A Rose on Ninth Street" with The Fitzpatrick Company. She also performed with the popular Irish band, Derek Warfield.

Katie is currently studying for her TCRG certification from An Coimisiun Le Rinci Gaelacha in order to continue her passion for Irish dance.

Sadie Markley - teacher

Miss Sadie grew up dancing at a local dance studio in Perkasie & Quakertown, where she continues to teach dance.

She graduated from West Chester University with a BA in English and Minor in Dance. While studying at WCU, Sadie was a member of the well-known University Dance Company. She also had the opportunity to choreograph two student dances for the company as well! While in college, Sadie had the privilege of attending American College Dance Association Festivals for three consecutive years.

Sadie has performed in Walt Disney World, Wildwood, The American Music Theater and in the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade. Since graduating college, she has been a judge at the PA Performing Arts Alliance Competition in KOP.

Sadie is so excited to start a new journey here at Synergy!

alissa Johann - teacher

Alissa Johann began her dance training at the Brandywine Ballet, under the direction of Donna Muzio in West Chester, PA. She has attended summer intensives with the Joffrey Ballet and American Ballet Theatre and has received various scholarships and awards for dance.

In May of 2016, she graduated from Cedar Crest College with a BA in Dance and a BA in Media Studies. She received the Carol Welton Kelly Dance Award for Movement Studies in 2016. She is currently a dance artist, instructor and choreographer in the Philadelphia region.
