Susan Jaskelewicz - dance school teacher

Susan began her dance career at the age of eight and knew this would be something she would want to continue forever.  She trained at a local dance studio in Hatboro, PA.  While there, she was a student teacher for 4 years and began teaching her own classes at age 17.  Continuing her passion throughout college, Susan graduated from DeSales University with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and a minor in Psychology.  While at DeSales, Susan performed in various student dance concerts and was cast in the re-staging of Bob Fosse's "Sing, Sing, Sing" and Alwin Nikolais' "Tensile Involvement".  Along with performing, she was the production manager for the Emerging Choreographers Concert in 2009. Susan attended American College Dance Fesitval and was an active member of the DeSales University Dance Team.

During and mostly after college, Susan performed for two Philadelphia-based modern dance companies: Vada Dance Collective & coEXISTdance.  She was also a member of the original Philadelphia Fight Vixens Dance Team for their 2009 debut season.  Also after college, Susan worked for the Pennsylvania Ballet in their internship program to discover the inner-working of how the ballet company is run.  Susan was a Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleader for the 2012-2013 season.

Susan currently works full-time at REACH Cyber Charter School as a High School Counselor.

Miss Susan is EXTREMELY excited for the upcoming season and is excited to bring her past experiences to dances so they can experience the same love of dance that she has!
