Michael Jaskelewicz is the Co-Owner and Studio Director of Synergy Dance Center, where he has spent more than 15 years inspiring the next generation of dancers through creativity, innovation, and a commitment to excellence. An accomplished educator, choreographer, adjudicator, and competition director, Michael is passionate about helping every dancer discover confidence, character, and a lifelong love of dance. His energetic teaching style, creative vision, and ability to connect with students have made him a respected leader both in the classroom and throughout the dance industry.

Michael earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from DeSales University with concentrations in Dance and Marketing. During his collegiate career, he choreographed numerous original works featured in the Emerging Choreographers Concert, Informal Winter Dance Concert, DeSales University Dance Team performances, and an independent concert showcasing his choreography. He trained under nationally recognized faculty, including Trinette Singleton, former Ballet Mistress of the Joffrey Ballet, and has performed works by acclaimed choreographers and companies including Twyla Tharp, J.T. Jenkins, Rennie Harris Puremovement, and Philadelphia's Vada Dance Collective.

Before opening Synergy Dance Center, Michael proudly represented Radio Disney and The Walt Disney Company, performing, hosting, and entertaining at events throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Florida. Those experiences helped shape the high-energy, engaging personality he brings into every classroom and taught him the importance of creating magical moments that leave a lasting impact.

Outside of the dance industry, Michael also built a successful career in sales and marketing with global technology and pharmaceutical companies. His experience in leadership, branding, and business development has helped shape Synergy Dance Center into the thriving community it is today.

Today, Michael is a multiple-time Industry Dance Awards nominated choreographer whose work has received numerous Overall High Score awards, choreography awards, entertainment awards, judges' awards, and other regional and national honors. His choreography is recognized for its storytelling, musicality, innovation, and emotional connection with audiences. While he loves creating memorable performances, what means the most to him isn't the trophies or titles—it's watching dancers discover confidence, build lifelong friendships, overcome challenges, and become the very best versions of themselves.

Beyond Synergy, Michael proudly serves as a Director for Beyond the Stars Dance Competition and Breakout Dance Competition with OneBeat Dance Brands. Through this role, he travels the country supporting studios, mentoring dancers and teachers, and helping create exceptional competition experiences that celebrate artistry, sportsmanship, and community.

As Studio Director, Michael's vision has always been simple: create a place where every dancer feels encouraged, empowered, and inspired. Whether it's a preschool dancer stepping into class for the very first time or a graduating senior preparing for the next chapter, his goal is the same—to help every student grow not only as a dancer, but as a confident, kind, and resilient person.

When he's not at the studio or traveling for dance, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and fellow Synergy owner, Miss Susan, their daughters Kendall and Elena, and their four-legged crew—Flash, Silas, Archer, and Shadow. He is grateful to do what he loves every day and considers it a privilege to be part of each dancer's journey.
