Elizabeth Cassano graduated from DeSales University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance. During her time there, she trained under Tim Cowart, Angela Grossman, Tara Madsen-Robbins, and Trinette Singleton. She performed in the Emerging Choreographers Concert and the Dance Ensemble Concert and was selected to perform in WAXworks at Triskelion Arts in New York City. Elizabeth also attended the American College Dance Association conferences in both New York and Georgia. In 2014, she studied and performed at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance Summer School in London, England. Her choreography has also been selected for the Village Showcase in Skippack, Pennsylvania.

At Synergy Dance Center, Miss Liz serves as Competition Director and Director of Staff & Instruction. She is an Acrobatic Arts Certified Instructor and the Director of Synergy's annual production of The Nutcracker, leading the studio's first full-length production in December 2025. As an award-winning choreographer, Miss Liz is passionate about creating meaningful, dynamic works while helping dancers develop strong technique, confidence, artistry, and a lifelong love of dance. She believes every dancer deserves to feel challenged, supported, and inspired both inside and outside the classroom.

Outside of the studio, Miss Liz enjoys getting lost in a good book, watching scary movies and anything paranormal, and embracing everything about her favorite season, fall. She loves spending time with her husband, Paul (Mr. Liz), and in March 2026 they welcomed their son, James, making her favorite role yet—being a mom.

Elizabeth joined the Synergy Teaching Team in 2015.
