Michael has been teaching dance for 15+years. Michael is fully trained in Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Lyrical, Ballet, and Modern Dance. Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree from DeSales University in Pennsylvania with specializations in Dance and Marketing.
While at DeSales, he had the opportunity to choreograph numerous pieces that were showcased at various venues in the Lehigh Valley. Some shows that his choreography was featured at were Emerging Choreographers Concert, Informal Winter Dance Concert, DeSales University Dance Team, and an Independent Project which exclusively featured his choreography. In addition, he studied under Trinette Singleton, the former Ballet Mistress for the Joffrey Ballet. Michael has performed in pieces originally choreographed by Twyla Tharp, J.T. Jenkins, Rennie Harris Pure Movement and the Philadelphia based dance company, Vada Dance Collective.
Prior to teaching, many of Michael’s favorite memories include the opportunities he was presented with by working for Radio Disney.
While he loved performing on stage, Michael found that his true passion lies in teaching the future generations of dance. He is well known for his creative choreography, energetic jazz routines and beath-taking contemporary pieces.
Michael is an active member of More Than Just Great Dancing, an international network of Dance Studio Owners committed to a Safe, Happy, Healthy and Fun Dance Environment through ongoing training and coaching. Michael also holds an active YPAD Certification (Youth Protection Advocates in Dance).
Michael consistently continues to build on his education and experience in the industry so he can serve his true purpose of inspiring and empowering the future generation of dance and this world.
Michael is a Dance Competition Adjudicator for Beyond the Stars and Breakout Dance Competitions.
Mr. Michael resides in Sellersville with his wife (Miss Susan), their two daughters Kendall & Elena along with their two dogs and cat, Flash, Silas & Shadow!
