Emily Lukens began dancing at the age of 2 and is a trained dancer in jazz, tap, ballet, modern and hip hop. She graduated from DeSales University in 2007 with a degree in Dance and a minor in Business. While in college, she performed in various university performances and choregraphed for the university dance team. She also performed in the university production of West Side Story in 2004.

After graduation she began teaching at several dance studios in New Jersey and also performed as a back up dancer in New York and Washington D.C. for a local singer. In 2008 she began a career in arts administration as a program manager and worked for one of the top arts education organizations in New York City, bringing the visual and performing arts to NYC public schools. Her most memorable program during her arts administration career was managing a theater and dance program for a NYC elementary and middle school for children on the autism spectrum.

In 2015, she relocated to Lansdale, PA and began a new career as a fitness instructor. She has taught classes in several local gyms and has recently launched a virtual fitness business offering classes in barre, pilates, HIIT, strength training, Zumba and adult dance.

Emily is very excited to be working with children and teaching dance again!
