Cara Cirillo

Cara Cirillo - dance school teacher

Cara’s love of musical theatre and performing began at the age of 4.  She attended a local dance school in Levittown as a child. She participated in musical theatre and choir all throughout her education. Her favorite musical roles include: Sara Brown in Guys and Dolls, Patricia Fodor in Crazy for You, Hope Harcourt in Anything Goes, and Lily St. Regis in Annie, among others.

Cara started college at Penn State Abington.  Then she attended West Chester University of PA where she earned a BA in Theatre Arts with honors.  While in college she also studied the technical side of theatre, serving as a costume and makeup designer, stage manager, director and playwright.

Her experiences working in outreach children’s theatre while at West Chester, led her to pursue a Masters Degree of Elementary Education from Holy Family University. Shortly thereafter she started her career as an Elementary Gifted Teacher in Bensalem Township School District. In addition, Cara took on many extracurricular roles: choreographing the school musicals, directing plays she’s written herself, and even doing a Black Light Puppet Show!

Cara lives in Bucks County with her husband Matt and 2 daughters. She is thrilled to begin a new chapter as a Musical Theatre and dance teacher and join the wonderful teaching team at Synergy!

Cara joined the Synergy Teaching Team in 2022.
